My story of studying MSc in Marketing at the Kent Business School, University of Kent started when I realized that I wanted to take my marketing career to the next level. With a CIM-accredited program, I knew this was the right option for me.
Throughout my course, I learned a range of vital topics that would equip me with expertise in marketing. My classes included strategy, consumer behavior, finance management, innovation and new product development and marketing across cultures including research report.
In order to complete the program successfully and graduate with distinction, I wrote a dissertation on “Evaluation of Brands’ Social Media Marketing Strategies During Myanmar’s Political Crisis” which focused on how various brands used social media strategies to overcome crisis situations and how consumers responded to these strategies. This dissertation project gave me an opportunity to apply my knowledge in real-life scenarios as well as gain insights into different strategies employed by brands in times of crisis.
I am proud to say that I graduated from my MSc in Marketing (2022) with Distinction. My time spent studying at Kent Business School has been invaluable and has provided me with essential skills needed for success in a competitive industry such as marketing. The experience has enabled me to become a more knowledgeable professional who can provide valuable expertise and leadership within any organization.
